At Home Work Out Essentials

When it comes to working out I keep it pretty simple - probably why I am not in the greatest shape of my life but I am happy with the shape I am in for now... I will do what I call 'nap time yoga' this is the part of my morning routine where I put my son down for his nap I will do a quick tidy downstairs before coming up stairs and rolling out my yoga mat! I have been doing Tone It Up videos for years now! I have 2 of their Beach Babe dvd series which I will do often but also depending on my mood I will also do their newest Youtube videos to mix it up! They have so many videos ~ so the options are endless.

My yoga mat is probably my must have above all else. As long as I have a small space to roll out my yoga mat I can just do some stretching or a full workout.
I also have extremely light dumbbells but they have been working fine for now :) A lot of the Tone It Up workout videos will incorporate these in some of their moves ~ so I am really glad I have them!
The booty band is the newest addition to my little workout kit ~ I actually received it when I joined the Tone It Up nutrition plan and again they will use this from time to time in various videos. It's a nice little add on to challenge your moves a bit more ~ extra resistance :)
A kettle bell isn't exactly necessary but I like using it as well since my dumbbells are so light!
Since I mainly workout at home my workout outfit is basic ~ just a pair of black leggings and a tank top!
One of my favourites ( mentioned in my March Favourites post) is the Tone It Up protein. I always look forward to my chocolate peanut butter shake after my workout :)
Last but not least I always fill up my water bottle to the top and have it with me while I do my workout - hydration is key :)
