I was thinking the other day how I have several kitchen items that serve their function but look really nice too! So I decided to gather all my current kitchen favourites that are just little bit elevated from the ordinary everyday kitchen items you typically see.
These are dessert bowls I purchased from Wal-Mart and they are part of the Pioneer Women line. I had my eye on them for a while because they reminded me of something from Anthropolgie. I finally decided to buy 4 one day so I could have extra for company. I use them the most for yogurt parfaits - side story - my love for yogurt parfaits started way back when I was still in university and some Saturday afternoons I would trek to the local Starbucks with my books and laptop and spend the afternoon there reading or writing papers! Anyway, I also love using these bowls for ice-cream or homemade rice pudding - really they are really multipurpose!
I feel like these are the iconic bowls from Anthropolgie seen everywhere. I actually originally had 4 of the turquoise colour but all but one broke. Finally, one day I was in an Anthroplgie and decided to replace my broken ones with the different coloured ones :) I use these for everything and love having them in my kitchen!
One day when I was washing berries for my little ones breakfast I realized I use this every single day - so naturally I had to include it in my kitchen favourites. It is a colander that looks like a 'old fashioned' berry box and I bought in the clearance section of Micheals ones day for only $2 - great buy :)
I've been really loving these popsicle molds from Ikea. There are so many great popsicle recipes and these are the perfect size. I have been loving taking my little one outside to eat a popsicle and I know exactly what ingredients are in it! (The popsicle shown here is just coconut milk and fresh pineapple blended ~ so simple! )
These measuring cups are so pretty! They are from Anthroplogie. I purchased these from the Grove while on our baby moon in California :) I don't bake as much as I use to but when I do bake I love that I have these!
I have the Cusinart Ice-Cream maker ~ it was a gift from my bridal shower. While I don't use as much as I used too since my little one was born I am still so happy I have it and know I will use it again more in the future ~ there is something so relaxing about making your own homemade ice-cream and then storing it in the freezer in this cute tub! My favourite ice-cream to make is mint chocolate chip! I think the sticker was suppose to come off but through washes it held up so I just left because it looks nice :)
I have had this egg holder from Anthroplgie forever but it is still going strong. I thought I would give up putting the eggs in there eventually but I haven't yet because it looks so nice in the fridge it is worth the extra minute to fill it up :)
I have 2 of these pitchers - they came in a 2-pack from Costco. I mainly use them for storing cold coffee for iced coffee :) or if I make coffee syrup I will store it in there also
This is just a butter dish but I love how it looks pretty on the counter and makes making my little ones morning toast just a little sweeter :)
Last but not least is this Sweet Dreams tea from Higher Living. I like to incorporate tea into my nighttime routine for the relaxing benefits of making and drinking tea. This one has been a go to of mine for a while now and I will make it in the Beauty and the Beast chip cup I purchased on a trip to Disney World a few summers ago :)
Being a stay at home mom I spend a lot of time home and more importantly in the kitchen so having a few prettier kitchen items sprinkled throughout can just make the regular everyday little moments a little more special :)
