While I love trying new products I do like to keep it as simple as possible and not overwhelm my shower or beauty cabinet with a ton of products that might not get used.
I always change up which shampoo and conditioner I use but I try to buy a more 'natural' product when I can. This is a brand I have been wanting to try for a while :)
I recently had my hair highlighted for the summer ~ I always do a blonde balayage because it is so low maintenance and I just don't seem to get to the hair dresser as often I used to. My hairdresser said since I don't come as often I should start using a purple shampoo ~ which years ago I used to use just hadn't repurchased in a while. I figure I should protect my 'investment' so a couple times a week I will use this purple shampoo. I am sure there are higher quality brands that have better results but this is what I use for now and all that was available in my little town's Shoppers Drug Mart. I really like it so far :)
I also always have a body wash and a body scrub in my shower. Currently I am using Cake body scrub and Delectable body wash. Both have better ingredients and smell like a cupcake so that is always a win in my opinion! On a side note, I totally thought I would use the body scrub up quickly and hesitated spending the money on it since it is a bit pricey but it has lasted me so long and I use it every week! A little goes a long way for sure :)
I also like to have a face scrub in the shower! I try to make my shower feel like a little spa moment whenever I can :) This one by Aveeno has been on my radar for a while and I was not disapointed at all by this product! I love the smell and it feels so gentle on the skin. This will become a shower staple for sure!!
I also have a bottle of Honest Company shampoo and body wash in my shower at all times and actually use it to wash my face if I am not using the Aveeno in-shower facial that day. The Honest Company shampoo and body wash is such a great simple product that is multi-purpose! I really love it :)
I also always have a wide tooth comb and a razor in my shower. I have used the Venus tropical razor for years!
Last but not least I also keep a a bottle of Method in-shower cleaner and a squeegee to keep the shower clean in between deep cleans. My shower is a glass shower so it looks its best when I take a minute to spray it down and squeegee the glass! I'll be honest though some days this doesn't get done but I definitely try to take the extra minute to do it if I have the time :)
