March Favourites

I love using this protein to make a chocolate peanut butter banana shake ~ I always have one after I do a Tone it Up Beach Babe dvd workout while my son is napping :) They have many other flavours as well like vanilla, coconut, cafe latte, & peanut butter. They usually have seasonal releases too like pumpkin spice!

This is my ultimate 'mom hack' for having my nails look great at all times! I wash so many dishes in a day and I am constantly cleaning and tidying up, that having a manicure last is just not realistic! This looks so pretty in natural sunlight :) When it does start to chip it is hardly noticeable ~ making it easy to take off and reapply when it is convenient for me :) This will be a go-to for years to come!

I just purchased this cookbook ~ however, I have a feeling it is going to be a favourite in my kitchen for a while! There are so many unique recipes I can't wait to try! The ones I have tried were delicious and very simple to follow :)

You know your an adult when a dish soap makes it into your favourites! I really do love this soap and I do dishes a lot so might as well use a product you like. I love that it has safe ingredients, works, and I love the scent :) I think this scent will become one of those nostalgic scents because it already reminds me of my little guy and all his little baby dishes I wash <3

These technically aren't my favourites but my sons! Well they are my favourite too though because these little love ducks have become a life saver when it is time for me to start cooking dinner and my little guy wants to see what is going on in the kitchen :) I give him a few of these in his highchair and it buys me enough time to get dinner started. I don't like to make it a daily habit though and like them to still be a treat but I feel good knowing the ingredients are safe and simple but still tasty for him :) The whole line of Love Child food is a favourite around here.

Speaking of cooking in the kitchen I like to have these wipes on hand. While I like to practice a 'low -impact' on the environment approach in my home these are handy to have when I need to wipe down the highchair or a sticky toy or like the container says 'everything'! They work great :)

To be honest I have been using this product for a while but just rediscovered it this month! There are so many things to love about this product :) I love how it adds a bit of volume to my hair and ultimately my pony tail ~ lets be real ... my hair is always in a pony tail now. It adds a very natural wave to my hair and it smells so nice. The fact that is is cruelty free, has a simple and natural ingredient list, and made in Canada are all a bonus!

My last favourite is my quick and easy recipe for energy bites.

My recipe is inspired from the Tone it Up Nutrition Plan but I always mix and match ingredients depending on what I have on hand!

I don't usually measure but here is the version I make the most:

Ingredients:

Oats

Shredded coconut

Mini chocolate chips

Peanut butter

Coconut oil

Maple syrup

Mix all these ingredients in a large bowl and then roll into little energy bites. I usually put them in a cupcake liner and store them in a tiu meal prep container in the fridge :) They usually last the week!
